These answers explain what the triage service is, what it is not, and how the first call works.
What is this service?
Did We Get Hacked? provides rapid first-step triage for small organizations that are worried about a possible security incident. The goal is to understand what may be happening, take safer first steps, and decide whether escalation is needed.
Is this full incident response?
No. This is triage, not full forensic investigation, legal advice, insurance claim handling, or guaranteed recovery work. If the situation appears serious or regulated, the recommended next step may be escalation.
Do you need my passwords?
No. Do not send passwords, MFA codes, recovery codes, credit card numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive secrets through the form or email.
What happens after I submit the request?
A short fit and scope call comes first. If the situation is appropriate for the triage offer, payment and session instructions are sent after that call.
What if this is urgent or dangerous?
If there is immediate danger, active ransomware, active financial fraud, suspected regulated-data exposure, or a legal deadline, contact your existing IT provider, legal counsel, insurer, vendor support, or emergency response path right away.
